If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about
trading it in for a newer model.
I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish, and my paint job is getting a little dull.
But that's not the worst of it-my headlights are out of focus, and it's especially hard to see things up close.
My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and
skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.
My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to
reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.
But here's the worst of it --
Almost every time I sneeze, cough or laugh, either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires.

Funny, funny... This reminded me of a comment I posted in a private group here on CM in early June. One of the gals asked us to write an ad to sell ourselves. This was mine...
For Sale: Older, 1958 model, one owner, high miles, but not out of the ordinary for age. Body has some dents and scratches, the top requires a cheap paint job every 6 to 8 weeks. Head lights are permanently on low beam but with support device can be encouraged to function on high. Back bumper sags, but spare tire always stays well inflated. Even though the body has some obvious flaws and age, with proper care the engine still purrs like a kitten. Very reliable. The interior is in excellent condition, still soft and plush. With the right owner she could be the ride of your life...
