.....And you know who you are!
I'm 28 years old. Soon to be 29 on August 23rd. I have been shopping in the juniors department for so many years! I can remember wayyyyyy before having children wearing a DOUBLE ZERO jean! Yes, no lie! My mom used to take me to a store called 579 in the mall and I thought I was so high class :-)) I was still hooked on juniors clothes for a good long while, even after having my first child in 2003.
Up until a couple of years ago, I realized that I'm too damn old for juniors! Not only that, but juniors clothing is just so cheap and tacky looking to me now! I found that misses and ladies suit me well. The colors and styles aren't as flashy and tight fitting. I wear an xs in misses and ladies :-)) In juniors I would probably be a size 7 or medium or even a large!
I just hate seeing those women shopping through the juniors section knowing damn well those clothes are not for them. It's hilarious! Some of these ladies are old as hell and still haven't grasped the idea of dressing their age.
Here are some common junior styles out:
Let's face it. Juniors clothing are for GIRLS between the ages of 13 to 17! I think!! Well some where around those numbers! Why is it that in the commercials and magazines you see girls barely done with puberty, modeling the clothes? Because that's who they are made for.
Juniors jeans are definitely cut for a younger body, not some old, stretched out figure! Juniors clothing are made for style and sass, not for comfort! IMO.
You know who you are!
Juniors jeans are usually made with a lot of embellishments and a heck of a lot of pockets as well. Misses or ladies jeans are not. They tend to focus of hiding, forming or
shaping :-)) Not flare! However, if misses clothing do have embellishments, they are usually done tastefully.

<---Ladies
Now, I can be guilty occasionally peeking over in the juniors section. Look at my profile picture. That dress is from Charlotte Russe. I couldn't resist!
However, most of my clothes are bought in the misses or ladies section.
Now, Khol's has a huge and great selection of misses and ladies wear. I love Khol's. The savings are awesme. They may seem boring- to newcomers ") or not as stylish or colorful at first, but you have to grow up! There is a reason why misses clothes are not as revealing or form fitting- Those days are over, that's why! :-)) You want to be taken seriously? Then shop where you belong and not in the cheap juniors section.
Also, New York and Company is my favorite store. I shop there a lot and believe me, they have an awesome selection of appropriate clothing for today's modern, sexy young lady! Look below:
IMO, when you shop where you are suppose to, you look better! For instance, if a young girl shops in the misses or ladies section, she'll look boring and older and the clothes just won't fit right. On the other hand, if a older lady shopped in the juniors, she'll look like she's trying too hard to be young or younger-looking. She'll actually look her age instead!
A common mistake with younger women! Doesn't she look old?
I'll never embarrass my kids like that by wearing juniors mini shorts with an Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt thinking I still got it!
Here is a common mistake w/ older women!
