My last baby Joel is now 13 months, and he is not yet weaned.  I am enjoying every minute of his babyhood, because unless a divine intervention happens he will be my last biological booboo.

No reason to stop nursing him yet. My daughter nursed her son until he was two, almost two  and a half.  He is so healthy today for it. At that time she didn't know if she would be able to have more children and didn't want to give up nursing. As it turns out she was able to have one more, her last for sure because of physical problems and plans on nursing her as long as she can.
Enjoy!

Such a precious thing. Don't stop until both of you are ready. You'll know when that is.

Thanks y'all!  It is nice to get some support, because my mother and other relatives think that I am being nasty for nursing him this long.  They just don't understand, and hear logic well.  Again, thank you.

Beautiful pictures!!! We recently weaned in July, at 25 months. He was ready then, more than me, I think!!! Now we're sleeping better, he's eating better, so I think it was the right time. Weaning before then wouldn't have been right for either of us, for MANY reasons! God bless!

These are beautiful, wonderful photos, thank you for sharing.  I am currently nursing our youngest and last child (unless the Divine intervenes...I had a tubal).  She is almost 22 months at this time...I am going to miss having a nursling so very much when she self-weans.
