I came across a very eye-opening journal today about Mike Vick and how the NFL takes in and pays a man who brutally tortured innocent animals ...I am equally appalled at the numb-ness and lack of human compassion that is represented by this!!  And yes, I DO agree, that everyone deserves a second chance ...a third chance, if need be!  Forgiveness is an amazing thing, and people DO change!!

Okay ...BUT, this journal brought out some very relevant points: 

*No big deal... he only beat, tortured, electrocuted, etc ...some dogs to death!

*Murder and torture isn't murder nad torture if it's only some stupid dogs! (sarcasm)

*So let's take this serial killer and pay him huge sums of money and forget the ugliness of those evil acts, huh?

ALL very very true and relevant statements - I AGREE!!!

Yet.... WHY can't we apply this same logic to the issue of abortion??!  WHY can't we be as caring, concerned, compassionate about tiny, innocent, precious babies ...whose little bodies are tortured, ripped limb from limb, burned ...all in the name of "choice" and "women's rights"  ...sacrificed upon the altars of "self-gratification" and "greed!"  (The love of money is at the root of ALL EVIL!!)

But OH WELL ...they are just blobs of tissue!!!  ...right??!!

11 weeks

Babies as young as 11 weeks gestation have been seen with their thumbs in their mouths. This baby started out sucking his smallest toes and gradually moves on to suck a bigger and better toe.

24 weeks

While newborns do not smile until 4-6 weeks after birth, babies in the uterus do. Maybe because the uterus is warm, comfortable, and shielded from loud noise and bright light.  These precious littles ones ...so fresh from the breath and hand of GOD, have MUCH to smiles about!!!!!!

People who think abortion is a "choice" upset me so much. You chose to murder, and to those people I say "You have NO RIGHT!" And God have mercy on those who do it and the doctors who perform them, those doctors know good and well the act that they are carrying out, they know good and well that it's not tissue, it's a human being, and they are breaking their oath they took as doctors to end a life like that. Abortion should not only be illegal but those committing the murder of innocent babies should be imprisoned.

This really hit home for me.  My brother lost a child via abortion.  His ex didn't want it....but he did.  He wanted that child so bad...but what could he do?  Nothing...that child would be only a month or two older than my youngest...

This is sooooo sooooo sooo true! Thank you Kim for posting this. It just baffles my mind that some people think that abortion is "no big deal".. How can MURDER be no big deal???    Great great post!  Voted you up.
