Summer winding down?

Last night it rained...and rained....and rained. But we needed the rain. Everything, the grass, trees all seemed so dry. But all the rain came and lasted all night. I'm glad. It was getting pretty dusty too. We are supposed to get more today. Thundershowers too. Days are getting shorter. But the crickets are in abundance. I love the sound of the cricket in the evening. And I work today too. Hubby and I were up at 5:30 to do his home dialysis routine. We were done about 6:30 am. Douglas got home from work late. Because he had to wait for other people to come in and cover the shifts for the 2 people that didnt show up for their shift. Anyways. Hubby has gone to work. I'm now trying to get the kids up....such a hard task sometimes. And school starts soon. What are they going to do then. Get to school late? I'm watching Property Ladder. I love these shows. I would love to do something like that. But I would need a good plan and lots of money too.

Oh and at 2 am my 21 year old son calls and his truck is stalled and wants me to go and give it a boost on the taxi. My other son had the booster cables and he was still at work. Luckily, his workplace was just down the street from where my son broke down. So I got dressed.....sleepily....I'm lucky I remembered to put on my jeans I was so sleepy and having a good sleep. I was just pulling out of the driveway and hubby was waiting at the door waving at me. I guess our son got his truck going.......ggggrrrrrr!!! So out into the rain and shut the gates and trudged back inside and slid back into my nightgown and back to bed. And I think I promptly fell asleep too.

I really need to have a nap. But I need to get these girls going on their chores!!!! Have a great day everyone. Please say hello!!
