I am exhausted. I return to work in 4 weeks and I have yet been able to go to sleep at a reasonable time. It's now 11pm and my 3 year old is awake with his 9 year old (i think 9) "cousin" and she just put on Nemo for the 2 of them to watch. MY hubby is outside between putting a new radio in my car and hanging with the other guys who are fixing another guys car. We ordered pizza for dinner and both keep grapping a slice here or there when we have a chance. His cousin has been in here for hours now, I feed her dinner, dessert, snacks, etc. I got my 14 month old to bed at his normal 8 o'clock time (to his displeasure) and my 2 week old, yes my 2 week old, has just recently finished his bottle and is asleep for anywhere between 2 and 4 hours, depending upon his mood. Hubby always says on a night like this to just let them play until they pass out (she, the 9 yr old lives right next door) - or until he is ready to go to sleep (he being hubby). Well, I am exhausted. I have yet to go to sleep at a decent time, it's always sometime between 10 and 1. And I have to wake up to feed the baby at each of his feedings. I just want her to go home so I can put my 3 year old to bed. He will pass right out once he hits his pillow. And tomorrow he will get to sleep in late, but my 2 week old and 14 month old won't.
