My aunt survived melanoma (skin cancer) and breast cancer.  She was so strong through both battles and beat the cancer.  She had to have a masectomy done to get rid of the cancerous cells and I know that was very hard for her to do because she felt like a part of her womanhood was being taken from her, but she got through it and is a stronger person for it today.  She has been in remission for several years now.  Besides those battles, she is almost 60 years old, but looks like shes in her 40s...I just hope I can look that good when Im her age...and I pray to God that if I ever have to go through what she did that I can come out as strong.
