In my1st journal, I posted a baby shower checklist. I have checked off the first 7 items on my list.
Two months before the Baby Shower
1. Create the baby shower guest list
2. Determine a budget for the baby shower
3. Set the date of the baby shower
4. Decide on the baby shower location
One month before the Baby Shower
1a Decide on the baby shower theme
2a Select and mail the baby shower invitations – include directions
3a Plan for the baby shower menu
Iaked my daughter to email me all the names, addresses and zip codes, and also relatives of her mother-in-laws list of everyone they wish to invite to the shower. Then I added our relatives. I entered all the information in a specific file name in my program, "Works Address Book", so when I have to send invitations , I can import this info.
2--I want a very nice partyfor my daughter and everyone attending to enjoy, but I dont wish to spend alot!
3 & 4--First when my daughter gave me 3 dates in Sept. to choose for her party, I chose the 3rd weekend. I love the Fall, it is soo pretty! And, we will beable to decorate easy usuing a pumkin theme I also chose the location to be in my yard. We live on an acre of land and there are quite a few trees on it, Im hopeing they will be colorful and the weather, beautiful! Here, I wont spend money on a place for the party.
1a-The Theme of this party, will be pumpkins. That time of the year, there will be a huge assortment in all sizes.
2a. 3a-I made shower invitations on my computer. Is is cheaper to bye pre-made invitations but I love to show off my graphic skills. I also included directions to my home and specific instructions for the guests, one in which I asked all guest who will be attending, to bring a lawn chair for this outside event.
