Let me Introduce to you our newest RSD
Joy Reagan, RSD
After my first son, Colin was born I originally wanted to be a stay at home mom. I tried that for about six months before I thought I would lose my mind. I was fortunate or unfortunate depending how you look at it, my previous employer allowed me to come back working nights and weekends. It was great my son was never in daycare. I also never saw my husband and was tired all of the time. I then got pregnant with my second son, Dominic and they finally allowed me to work exclusively from home. It wasn't the work from home experience I had hoped for but, I never would have quit. After all I was a work at home mom and couldn't imagine taking my kids to daycare.
Well in April they let us know that our contract with Cleveland Clinic was not going to be renewed. I immediately panicked. I needed to work from home. I didnt have any room in my budget for childcare. I started looking and honestly the Freedom At Home Team was the first thing I saw and the last thing I saw. I originally passed for the same reason many people do, I was scared. I didn't want to be scammed or put out a lot of effort. After three months searching for a (virtual/telecommute job) in vain, I saw another ad for Ameriplan and decided to take a leap of faith.
It was the best decision I have ever made. I didn't know then that I would fall in love with what I do everyday, but I have. I love working for Ameriplan. I love being on the Freedom At Home Team. I love helping others discover they can choose to stay at home with their kids and be more than a mommy. I love to show people that just because you change a dirty diaper, cook, and clean doesn't mean that your brain has turned to mush.
Finally, but in no way least important I want to thank Bobbi Sullivan my enroller and my friend. Her support and guidance has helped me achieve my goals. She has always been there for me, and fulfilled every promise that was made to me when I signed up with Ameriplan. I also need to thank Amy Shapiro, she went out of her way to welcome me to the team and reassure me that she was there for training and mentoring. The sky is the limit. If I can do this anyone can.
