Such a good daddy

I belive in giving credit when credit is due since I seem very timely with criticism. LOL

Anyhoo, DH has been a gem lately I mean just amazing. Every thing I ask he does, some things without me having to ask. Last night was priceless.

I am trying to night wean Kendall, she seems to prefer to nurse to and through sleep. So sometimes I pull her off right when she dozes so that she can go on her own but she throws a tantrum. I stick to my guns, pat her back gently and she falls asleep on my shoulder. Now then she wakes up like once wanting to nurse and this is where I have to find the will power to sit up in the bed, and rock her gently without nursing. She throws a fit. So DH got up, took her and sang her favorite song to her " Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas." She's loved that ever since she was a baby and DH has a nice deep voice and sings well. It was so sweet. He just let me go to sleep as he sang. She starting crying again, and he picked up her and walked and sang to her again. I woke up this morning to potty and he had her tucked right underneath him. He had put her to sleep all on his own without waking mommy at all.

It was a very proud moment. He is and has always been a good man, but to see him developing into an allstar father is very touching. I love him so much, he knows that but I am so proud of him as well.

Just wanted to share.
