I was looking at my facebook page and noticed that my son Jonathan who is stationed in Afghanistan, left a message or 2 for his girlfriend na done of his buddies wife. No problem for the buddys' wife but no messages or hi mom how you doing?

I was just thinking how much that hurts that he can't say anything to me. But wait a minute do I do that to GOD who loves me more than anyone ? Who me? Of course me and the sad part about it is it is true. Yes , I pray but do I spend the time with him in conservation no.

I think I'll start right now

P.S. I do wish my jon would write

He may only have so much time he can use. I wasn't the Mom, but I was the big Sister when my brother was in Vietnam. It is hard for us to understand what they go thru, but David told us about how little time they had for anything. I promise, he is thinking of you and all his family and he loves you very much. We were so worried about David, cause we didn't hear from him for 3 weeks. Then he wrote and told us they were on a mission and couldn't write. I know how much you want to hear from him though.......I will pray everyday for your Son......the LORD can take care of our children, no matter where they are. I would like to invite you as a friend. Anytime you need to come and talk I am a very good listener and it would be my honor to pray for your whole family if you will let me know what your prayer needs are. I served our country in the Navy for 4 years. I know some of the feelings that you can have. The precious LORD has HIS eye on your precious Son. Much love in JESUS, the LORDS lady. P.S. Thank you for the Ashland Christmas Card. It was a beautiful way to wake up this morning. Be Blessed. Love in JESUS, Carla.....the LORDSlady

Thank you for your reminder to us of the need to talk with our Father more often than we do; how we expect so much from our children, but don't do it ourselves! I had to chuckle. I was thinking about how I go to look for stuff and when I finely get so frustrated that I cry out to the Lord for help. Why don't I talk with Him first, asking for advice? You'd think I'd learned that one by now! At least, I only go a few hours instead of months! LOL For your son: Father, plz in the name of Jesus we ask that you'd make a way and time for Jon to contact his mama. You know how much it meant when Your son Jesus Christ took the time to talk with You. Plz give Cindy comfort and peace until she gets word from him we ask and give You all the glory for what You are going to do. Amen! With confidence, Cheryl (owner of Daily Bread, God Chasers at Heart, Eyes 4 The Lord, and Pray For Our Children) Yes, you can pray for me too! LOL
