So the time has finally come. I have to start supplementing for bottles
when I'm at work. I've been fighting a battle for probably the last 2
months where I have alot of trouble letting down when pumping. I have
no problem when he's nursing though. Well it has slowly gotten
worse...first I just wouldn't let down one break a day...then
two....then for awhile I was back to normal! don't know why. lol, now
I'm back to only letting down once. And it's not a supply issue
(everyone always misunderstands me)...I have plenty of milk and have
never had a problem getting enough milk, but my boobs don't wanna
cooperate and let the milk OUT. It makes me so mad because I can't do
anything about it. I've tried everything. I've googled everything and
called lactation consultants and I'm out of ideas. :( It's just very
upsetting to me. He's never had formula, ever. I just hope he'll eat it
:( I have to buy my first container this payday....whatever. That's all

Comments:
I know exactly what you are talking about. Using a breast pump I would get nil a drop, but hand expressing milk I could get about 3-4 ounces and my son was getting plenty to eat while nursing. It will be ok!
i know what you mean....i can nurse her for hours and hours w/any problem...but hook me up to a pump and nothing!
try hand espressing. it is way more natural than sucking your whole tit through a tube. i did it for a whole year at work.
