When the reason for your existence disappears...

Today is starting off to be one of those days. As I write this my heart is racing, my palms are clammy, stomach in knots...I would probably mark this day of infamy on my calendar, but for one thing. I CAN'T FIND IT!

My life has been strategically mapped out on this much need organizational aide and it has just disappeared-POOF! I'm not talking about an itty bitty little thing either. My calendar is the extra-large, industrial family sized version that can fit all 8 of us on its pages!

I feel so lost at the moment! I know we have orthodontist appointments sometime-was that today or tomorrow?-kids' open house-sports practices-business appointments-writing deadlines...I have searched all the obvious places that a calendar might be and now the more uncommon places are being spotlighted; the fridge, garbage containers, cupboards, behind the couch...Oh, where oh where has my calendar gone!

Part of me would love to just relish the freedom of not having to "be"-dare I throw caution to the wind? Boycott all planned activities? Unfortunately, my hectic Mommy world doesn't allow for such an unplanned plan...And, so, my search continues! If you have any words of wisdom or just want to commiserate with my pain I would love to hear from you.

I don't know what I am going to do if my calendar is really gone-forever...WAHHHHHHH!

I think I saw some kids running by with it this morning in an attempt to avoid the dentist appointment written on it? They passed it off to my evil odd socks.

Knowing my house, when I lose anything, it's usually right in front of me. I realize this after searching for hours and going nuts though. Good luck. Or maybe one of the kids knows where it is. That happens too.

I know what you mean!!! I would be lost without my schedules!!!

I have 3 that I use. My new favorite 1 is cozi.com. It sends reminders to all of us via text.

ACK!  I can't imagine life without my Brain.  :-)  And by Brain I mean my super stuffed, super organized only to me, planner.  :-)  I'm not a techy.  I don't like anything online...I prefer my calendar to be paper and for me to be able to flip through it.

I hope you find your lifeline to the real world soon!!  :-)  LOL

Be sure to check the kids room, and their dressers. They might have been looking at it  but u probably , more then likely already did this! lmao....I hope for the sanity of this world that u find it....lol..

Tony, Tony turn around, something's lost and can't be found....

Hope your planner turns up soon....One of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to find something!

Another option....offer up a cash reward for its return....I'll bet you have more than one volunteer to help you find it!

Check the freezer. no really. That is where I find everything I am missing-right next to the chocolate ice cream. OMGosh! Check your hidden chocolate stash!
