Today Z said that she wanted to go to the bookstore.  I said that we could go after nap.  She went on to tell me that daddy showed her a movie "with dripping!  Bleeding!  On him"  I am thinking what the hell kind of movies is he watching with her?

I didn't think much more about it till later when I had to say to DH he really needs to curtail his profanities.  He replied that when Z does swear, she "follows it up with Mama said it."  Um hmm.  Yeah.  So I broke out the big guns, and asked WTH is he watching w/ her.  Apparently last month when they were at the bookstore together she noticed 'The Last Temptation of Christ' and the crown of thorns and that obviously made a big impression!  heehee

At least your man didn't leave the *wrong kind of movie* in the DVD player.. or have a 4 year old saying "Mommy!  I want to watch Jesse's movie with the girl boobies!!!"   It wasn't as bad as it could have been.. it was a GGW movie, so it was all topless - no below-the-belt nudity... BUT STILL!!

See?  It could be worse.  :)

Hehe! That is too funny! The things that stick in kids' heads. Matt plays this war game on our Wii. I ask him not to play it with the kids around, but if I leave the house and come back usually the first thing I hear is Dominic telling on daddy for playing *the wars fighting game* with them!! LOL!

So funny!  I love the bookstore link (in her mind.)  That's what triggered her little story.  And yes, it made an impression if she's thinking of it when she thinks of going back to the bookstore!

Yes, they are such efficient reporters.  I get busted a lot!

Ha-ha My girls were describing the movie daddy let them watch and made it sound awful!!! Violenceand girls in bikinis tied to a yuccky monster etc.. I was getting upset and trying to figure out what they were talking about even though I know my DH would never let them watch something inappropriate. We don't do cable tv for that reason even. They could not remember the name but finally they said ya know Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Of course!!!! A star wars movie.....I laughed so hard when I finally figured it out.
