I didn't watch, but texting while driving is STUPID and my cousin has already been in 3 or 4 accidents doing this and is still alive!  Something needs to be done with the phone company's there needs to be some changes before any of us end up killed b/c of someone texting and driving.  I see it all the time and it pisses me off to no end I want to kick thier asses!

I feel you momma! They say that it could be more dangerous than driving while drunk. And diving drunk is very dangeous, so that's just scary right there.

This is why texting while behind the wheel of a moving vehicle, or even READING a text is now ILLEGAL within the state of Virginia. Needs to be a Nation-Wide ban. Not just "select" states.

I just sat my 14 yo text-happy son down to watch this. he asked me if it was a real or staged accident. I asked him if it really mattered.  We discussed how very dangerous it is to do aything that takes his focus away from the road. Thank you for posting, while graphic, I certainly hope that it opens the eyes of people who text or read while driving. I have a feeling this will stick with my son in the years to come when he is ready to get his license.

I'm glad you showed this to him. In Europe they actually made this for teenagers to watch in hopes it would cut down on text related accidents.

I heard about this video on the radio the other morning.  I hope every teen everywhere watches it and realizes how their actions could affect themselves as well as others around them.  Texting while driving is probably the most dangerous thing you can do.  Thanks for posting
