Attention Wives and other Loved Ones of a Law Enforcement Officer.....

I am setting out to change the world.  Or at least my little corner of it.  I live in MI, who currently does not have the death penalty on the books.  I am married to a SGT of a local PD and find it heartbreaking that so many officers are killed in the line of duty over senseless things.  That being said, I want the penalty for such an offense to be changed.  It is my sincere belief that anyone who takes the life of a law enforcement officer in the line of duty should be executed. 

I am looking for others who share in this belief so that we can make something happen.  This post is not being written to stir up trouble, just gather together those of us who want to see changes made in the penal system.

I feel the same way!  My son is a Police Officer and if, God forbid, he were to be killed in the line of duty, I would absolutely want the perpetrator to be executed!  It used to be taboo among criminals to kill a Police Officer.  Now, it seems like nobody has respect for Law Enforcement anymore.  The number of Officers injured and killed just blows my mind!  Something needs to be done in order to send the message that this will NOT be tolerated!

Hi, I saw your application for the Christian Tags group. I am a designer and administrator  in there. That is how I found your name. I saw your page and it is wonderful. I am Laura and I am a mother to a son who is a policeman (Sgt.) in our state (Ga.). He is also on the SWAT Team. It is horrible what they have to do and to get hurt and die for such senseless things. I thank the Lord everyday that my son has  been saved and that the Lord keeps him safe while on and off duty.
