My 8 year old daughter is hitting puberty.Yes it is young I know but the doctor told me to beware it is coming.Tuesday I told her and her brothers to pick up there play room. They say ok,not 5 minutes later I hear my daughter screaming and yelling at them.I get in there and she says mom told us all to pick up and your just sitting on your butts. You expect me to do everything and thats not right.I am not your maid or your servant. Then she goes you know what whatever I am not doing anything till you guys do.Starts stomping up the stairs ,as she is stomping up there stairs she goes boy suck, they just suck.My poor boys havve this look on their faces like what the heck.So I talked to them first.I said your sister shouldn't have yelled and screamed at you but she was right I said to for all of you to clean up.She is not your maid or servant. You need to apologize to her for not helping. So start cleaning while I talk to her.I go up there and she is sitting on her bed.She goes mom the boys just suck sometimes.I said I know they get on your nerves but that is what little brothers and big brothers do sometimes.I know your going through alot right now cause your body is changing. But you shouldn't have yelled at your brothers you need to apologize to them. And next time let me know if they are not helping. She said ok gave me a hug and we went downstairs. She apologized for yelling and they apologized for not helping. And then today I went and picked them up like 15 minutes early from school. She comes up all huffy why are you getting us early.I was in the middle of science class and I like science class.Arms are crossed and this little mad look on her face.I said well it's only 15 more minutes before school is out anyway.I thought I would get you guys early and we could walk up to the shoppette for ice cream as a treat since you guys have been doing so good in school. She is like ice cream ok I am good.I don't know how I am going to make it through this.Puberty is not fun, lol.

Oh!  The fun begins!  I raised four daughters!  It was an amazing journey.  By the fouth time my husband and I were broken into what was in store for us ahead and did laugh off many a hysterical moment.

Just know now it goes downhill from now till age 16, then the tide turns ever so slowly until age 21 when they finally calm down and become adults.    Its a long, long process.   Girls are intriguing!
