Ok Day 2!  I've lost 5 lbs in 2 days on the 1200 calorie a day diet.  It's not too bad actually.  I am hungry at times, but I'm able to work through those feelings.  I'm learning to eat slowly and chew really, really well!  I did notice today though, that I pushed it with how long I could go before I ate lunch.  I went a little too long, so tomorrow I won't make that mistake.  I feel like I can do this because it's my choice now...and I can do anything I put my mind to!

Day 2 Food Journal:

Breakfast: 1/2 a bagel with one slice of bacon, 2 slices of tomato, 6 oz greek style yogurt, and 1/2 cup of Concord Grapes

Lunch:  1 oz of tuna, 1 cup cooked whole wheat pasta, 1 tsp mayo, 1/2 cup Concord grapes

No afternoon snack because I had to go to sleep for work

Dinner: 2 oz of strip steak (yummy on the grill, thanks honey), 1/2 cup broccoli and cauliflower, 1 cup zucchini and yellow squash, 3 oz baked potato with 1 tbsp light sour cream and spray butter, 1/2 cup of grapes

Evening snack: 3 cups of air popped popcorn with spray butter, 6 oz yogurt

I think I actually ended up under 1200 calories because I missed my afternoon snack. Oh well, it was a good day again!
