how to be in the 2010 CHD Calendar

Last week to submit photo for the 2010 CHD calendar. Heart families go to http://bit.ly/4oSSl to send your photo. Deadline for photo submission is no later than August 31, 2009.

Photos can be submitted of anyone born with a heart defect (adult or child), living or deceased, and from anywhere in the world. You can upload your photo at http://www.savinglittlehearts.com/photo_submit.asp

During the month of August you can save $5 per calendar by pre-ordering before the inside pages are available. Each calendar is regularly $20 but now only $15. Avoid the rush. Order your copy at http://newsite.savinglittlehearts.com/?id=305

Q & A about the calendar:

Q: Are you taking one photo from each person, or multiples?
A: Please pick your one favorite photo for each CHD person.

Q: Can we mail in the photos like last year?
A: You can mail in the photo but a photo release will need to be printed and sent in. You can email [e-mail]

Q:Can you include one from the UK?
A:We would love to include a photo from every child in every country around the world.

Q: When do they have to be in by?
A: Photos will only be taken the month of August.

Q: How many images are you going to be using?
A: We will use one photo of each child submitted.

Q: Do you need them in CMYK for printing or just RGB for now?
A: Just a standard 300 dpi picture will be perfect.

Q: Last year you asked for the birthday and my daughter was in her birth month. This year the form doesn't ask for the birthday.
A: Last year the photos were put in the calendar by alphabetical order. If your photo was in the birth month that was merely chance.

Q: I got an error when submitted my photo, did it go through?
A: If you received an error please resubmit your photo.

Q: I was wondering if there were any way I could order one without doing it on the internet?
A: You can mail a check to the SLH main office (check website for address). Be sure to make a note in the memo section that the check is for the 2010 calendar. Calendars are $15 each during the month of August. In September the cost will be $20 each. Shipping and handling is $5 no matter how many calendars are ordered.

Q: Is this for CHD Angels or Survivors?
A: Anyone with a CHD can be in the calendar, angels and survivors, children and adults. As long as the person was born with the heart defect they are welcome to be in the calendar.
