Dining room done! (almost. LOL!)

I'm so happy! I finally got a day to just paint.. and I finished off our dining room. It only cost $30 for paint and a new brush and roller cover... $8.00 for the curtains... and I am going to get some fabric to make a table runner.
The curtains I bought new still in the package from the salvation army! Apparently Target gives their overstock or unsold items to them.. so when I walked in with my friend a few months ago we found 7-8 packages of these curtains and at $4.00 each it was too good to pass up. I'm so happy I have finally found a place to use them!
The wall color is Stone Manor, and its a Valspar color. It took 3-4 coats to cover up my old dining room color, which was a green- but this is more pleasing to a wider variety of people and I LOVE the way it looks.. its so damn chic with the light shimmery blue of the curtains! It also REALLY pops against the crisp white trim.
The art I painted myself, its 3 24"x24" plywood panels I salvaged, sanded the hell out of, primed.. and then using a vinyl sticker I saw online as inspiration, painted my birds and branches motif. The paint was all old latex I had laying around.. the birds are the wall color, the flowers are basically the color of the curtains (color from my living room) and the branch was a chocolate that I had a "sample" can of.
I am so pleased with how it turned out! We still need to swag the light fixture to center over the table, and I wish we could continue the wood into the dining room because its already in the hallway and kitchen... but the budget just doesn't allow for that right now so it will have to wait. all in all, I think it looks awesome and I am so happy I got to do some art for my house finally!
Here are some pics: Its night so they are super dark but you can get the general idea! I have to take some really nice light daytime pictures done of the whole house for our listing (if we decide to sell) and I will post a home tour on here if we do!

lol stifflersmom I don't know either. but whatever... personally if I dont have anything nice to say I just dont say anything at all.. but some people feel like their opinion is just SOOO important, and so "kewl" that they have to tell everyone else about it. lol.
