First day of school...

So, yesterday was DS4's first day of Kindergarten.  Yep, REAL school, lol, or in his words the BIG school.

He was so excited it's not even funny.

It was more like an orientation day, so I didn't take many pictures.

I had to take him to school, and sit there for an hour listening to all the stuff I already know, lol.  Come on, I've got one in 8th grade now, if I don't know it by now, I'll NEVER know it, lol.

Well, a few interesting things...there are 2 sets on triplets in Kindergarten this year.  WOW!  There was supposed to be 3 sets!  That's crazy, lol.  I was one of the few parents there who had kids already in the school district. 

They took the kids out on a bus ride, and then the parents got to see the rooms, and talk to the teachers.

We didn't get to see the kids again until they came home on the bus.

I wasn't sure what to expect when DS got home, lol.  He's rough...very rough...

He came home, the bus driver said he did great, and no notes home from the teacher, so it's all good for now, lol...

I had one little boys Mom tell me, that when he little boy saw my DS, he told her, that 'that boy over there is going to be my best friend.'  Lol, cute.  DS has issues making friends.  He's kinda rough, lol, I think I said that already.  He's just hard to deal with most days.  At pre-school, he had 2 boys that he played with, and most of the time he came home mad because they didn't want to play. 

Hopefully this year is better. 

He was so proud of himself that he ate almost all his lunch, and didn't forget to bring home his lunch box, lol.

They divided up the class, so there was only 6 of the kids there yesterday, and the rest will be going on different days.  They will all be there on Friday, 21 kids in his class.

There was one boy from his pre-school class there, but he's in a different class.  There is a little girl from pre-school too, but I don't know what class she's in.

He was kinda excited to see that there was someone he knew.

But he got the youngest teacher in the Kindergarten class, lol.  Same as when he went to pre-school.  Hopefully she's as nice and patient as his pre-school teacher.

So, Friday is his frist REAL day...I can't wait to get some good pictures, and see him get on the bus in the morning.

2 out of 3 out of the house for the day, lol, WOHOO!
