Hello everyone, my name is Amanda. Some of you may have seen my page before or read some of the posts in different groups about problems I was having with my husband. Here's the deal. I was in a very abusive relationship. Physically and mentally. I was worn down to nothing and hurt so much I thought that's how my life would stay forever. My husband was a totall control freak and would not let me out of the house. I was not allowed to have friends, talk on the phone unless I had permission, or read a book when I wanted too. I had to answer him like he was my father. If I said something to make him mad he would physically attack me. I am being very open and honest with you even though I do not know you.  I am doing this to try to help those who do not realize there is hope. I have lived your nightmare and know a way out. If any one out there is going through what I went through or something similar please know that there is help. That next step to better your life is right there.....Alll you have to do is take it. I am only 18 years old. I got married at the age of 16. I may be younger than most of you but I can still help and would love to make the decision alot easier for those of you who may not know where to start. I have learned alot about the Virginia Law (which isnt that great of a system by the way) which may be helpfull to some of you. I have a story to share with you and hope to be of some help. I finally got out of my horrible situation and am just trying to prevent others from happening. You may feel lost and hopeless but God is ALWAYS there. The Lord has helped me tremendisly and I pray for others that are in my same situation. I pray you have the strength to get out and if you need anything just message me. I am here to help. oh wow!! Im so happy for you that you got out of such a horriable situation!!! that made me tear up. You deserve so much better and God will bless you with an amazing man soon! I wish you the best in everything and just remember that I am here for you!
