My favorite band, THIRD EYE BLIND just released their new album URSA MAJOR.  Surprisingly they did very well and were #1 on iTunes and #3 on the Billboard charts despite the fact that it's been six years since their last album and they don't have major label backing.  Luckily they do have a very devoted fan base and we want to get them on vh1's top 20!
