8/27/09: Harley's in Heaven now...

Well, we decided not to go along with the brain surgery and it's a good thing we did. Harley passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2009. She was 19.5 months old.

Her services will be Friday, August 28, 2009 at Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85308. Viewing is from 12:30pm-2:00pm, services from 2:00-3:00pm, graveside services from 3:00-3:30pm and a reception to follow from 3:30-5:30pm.

Thank you everyone for your continued support of Harley and our family. She's in a safe and wonderful place now, being watched over by family and friends in Heaven. She's no longer suffering and can now get back to playing like the energetic, mischievious, and sweet girl she once was. She will be missed by all and will always be loved. Rest in peace, Harley. Mommy loves and misses you.

WHERE TO BEGIN? SORRY JUST NEVER SEEMS TO BE ENOUGH IN THE LOSS OF A PRECIOUS LITTLE GIRL. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE FIRST TIME SEEING AND HEARING THIS EVER SO HEART TOUCHING LIFE OF A STRONG BEAUTIFUL BABY WHO GAVE IT HER ALL.  I CARRIED HER IN  MY THOUGHTS AND HEART AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.  NOW THIS LITTLE BLESSING IS SURROUNDED BY  THE SWEET SOUNDS OF HEAVEN AND IN THE COMFORT OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHERS ARMS.  KNOW THAT GOD IS CLOSE TO THOSE WHO'S HEARTS ARE BREAKING, LEAN ON HIM, ALLOW HIM TO CARRY YOU BOTH AND THE FAMILY THROUGH THIS AND KNOW THAT YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN ONE DAY.  MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL AND HARLEY WILL REMAIN IN MY HEART ALWAYS, ALONG WITH YOU BOTH! I am new to cafemom and your journal just popped up at the bottom of my screen during a break in a game..

So sorry. I don't kno wyou or Harley but have been following your story for some time. I know she had many problems that she was suffering with.  You are right that she is in a better place and I hope that makes you feel a little more at peace with her passing.  I will pray for you and just remember you will be with her again someday.
