Updates on My Aunt with Cancer

My mom e-mailed me earlier

Now, news about your Aunt Jan: Grandma e-mailed me today, and she didn't have good news.  Jan called her, and the surgeon told her that the cancer is quite extensive, and in the lymph nodes.  He said that right now it is inoperable.  She has 3 very large tumors.  He wants her to start chemo right away in the hopes it will shrink the tumors.  At this point, she doesn't know how much chemo Jan will have to have--just have to wait until she can get in to see the oncologist there in Chico, hopefully by Mon. or Tues. I'll keep you posted as I hear more from Grandma.

Sorry to hear that, Kristi :( My dad died from cancer a few years back. I feel your pain :(
