My husband has a dangerous job! pictures!

300, 400, 500 feet in the air or higher!  My husband builds and repairs cell phone towers.  Recently was stuck 300 feet in the air on one during a thunder/lighting storm.  He saw the clouds coming in and radioed the Lead Tower Hand and was told "no we can beat it, just finish up then come down"  This coming from the man...on the ground! LOL He comes home and tells me this, I know he LOVES his job, the money is crap, but he loves it, so its worth it!

He can be careful but so many things are out of his control, if the crane operator makes a slight error, weather & wind, poor judgemnt calls from himself of others, if the boom on the crane is not properly atttached, equipment malfunction. 

Kayla, our 4 year old kindergartener, climbs chain link fenses and says "when i grow up I'm gonna build towers"

He even brought home a harness for her to play in!  )Its so cute) I know her mind will change a thousand times so I'm not worries about that!  LOL

Would love to hear from moms that are wives of tower hands or otherdangerous jobs (he used to work offshore too) or if anyone knows about a group of Tower Hand wives or dangerous jobs (couldnt find any when searched) or if anyone is interested in starting one!!!

hi I'm not a wife of a tower guy, but i like to be a new friend of yours.i voted for your beautiful wedding on show down.i have 3 grown kids, and 4 grands. two of my kids are in the military.i miss all my kids,grands.i enjoy scrap booking,maken cards, sewing,reading,cafemom.my hubby & i been married 27yrs.this is second marriage for us both.i feel like i been born married. lol i had all my kids at young age, too. and many people (rude @ss) tryed teeling me what i should/or not do with my kids.i'm the oldest of 7 siblings, and my mom rasied us all on her own.i was her right arm. i didn't let rude people tell me anything. i was divorced over 7yrs, and i raised my 3 on my own.you do what you feel is right, and all will work its way out. oh and your were a beautiful bride.your hubby a hottie too. your little daughter, very beautiful. i wish mine were still little. you take care and have a great week. if you like to stay in touch, i so would like that.
