found a lump today...

Could it be....???? Or could it just be something going on with my breastmilk.My son is 2 and I'm still producing milk, I asked my doc about it a few months ago and she said its normal even though I don't breastfeed him and never really did. I know its hard to get sonograms done or REALLY get checked out for breast cancer while you have milk still.I'm wondering if its some sort of clogged milk duct.The lump is pretty big, about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide.Had s/o feel it and he got worried right away cause its so big and pretty hard.

it could be a clogged milk duct, it could be a cyst (which i had one found on my breast and it went away) or it could be something else. the dr asked me if my mom has/had breast cancer and when i told her no she said that as long as my mom doesnt have it, they dont tend to worry so much. my advice to you is to get to a dr and get it checked out as soon as possible. it may be nothing but its better to be safe than sorry. good luck  :)
