Walk for a Cure

Hello all, my family is walking for a cure for our daughter and her friends in Weatherford, Texas, Oct 10, 2009.  We would love to have you walk with us or donate so that Type 1 Diabetes will be a thing of the past.  My daughter was a normal 8 year old before this devastating disease changed her life. Now she has to check her blood sugar 10 times a day and her insulin pump is life support for her, not a cure.

JDRF is the LEADER in researching a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. Without a cure, my child and many others face amputations, blindness, nerve damage and many other afflictions that no mother wants to see her child suffer through. Please Please Please help. Thank you!
