I HAVE AN ALMOST 21 MONTH OLD WHO STILL TAKES A BOTTLE ...I KNOW.. I KNOW BAD ME ...YEA !!HIS DR AND DENTIST BOTH TOLD ME THEY WERENT EXTREMELY WORRIED YET BUT I KNOW ITS TIME AND PERSONALLY SICK OF EVERYONE TELLING ME HOW BAD I AM FOR IT ...HE EATS GREAT DRINKS FROM BIG CUPS WITH STRAWS DURING THE DAY BUT IF HE IS SICK OR HURT OR ABOUT TO GO TO SLEEP FOR NAP OR FOR NIGHT HE NEEDS HIS BOTTLE IVE TRIED TAKING IT AWAY SEVERAL TIMES ENDED UP PUNISHING MYSELF CRYING BECAUSE HE IS STRONG WILLED AND SCREAMED FOR DAYS I NEED ADVICE PLEASE IM READY TO TOSS THE BOTTLES BUT I DONT WANT THIS TO BE A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE FOR EITHER OF US !!! :)

Don't worry about it...he will give it up eventually. Try making the holes bigger in the nipples...and a few days later a bit bigger again and so on...my son started biting the nipples off and then I told him I couldn't buy anymore and "we" were done. Seriously though...I don't think I've ever seen a a child who is 3 or 4 with a bottle...I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you brush his teeth in the AM and PM. Good Luck!
