This year.....  of course, the new teachers getting to know my son.. and then... there is the one teacher who is....  "D'Monta is not applying himself.  His attitude has changed, he seems to keep chaing."   ......... I tell her...  'Monta is on medicine for ADHD, so yeah, his mood does switch up every so often, there isnt really anything I can do about that.'   ..... Then she says, "School is getting harder and he needs to be able to keep up or he will fall behind.  I havent gotten any work (school work, not homework) from him at all.."  ... I tell her.. there isnt anything I can do about that.. this is something Ive dealt with with my son since PreK .....  all the meds and talking to him wont fix it.... I dont know what to do.... and she looks at me weird.....   ....

dude, my mom's a educational tester for the state of MI and she will tell you right off that the meds are going to slow him down sometimes. it's the way they affect the brain processes. tell them to get over it!
