27 weeks check up

Well I went to my OB and Maternal/Fetal Specialist yesterday. Of course at my OB my blood pressure was up like usual! I am huge anxiety when I go there! My doc asked if I was feeling her and I told her not as much but it was just a day that she wasn't moving as much! So she hooked me up to the NST machine! I had no clue at first what that was, I didn't make it that far with Jackson so this is all new to me! I laid there while the girls came and checked on me! Apparently, Stormy's heartbeat was strong but not having those peaks and valleys that they like to see.  They gave my a Pepsi to see if that would excite her....which it did! My doc brought me into her office and then I got nervous! She said since you already have an appt with the Maternal/Fetal Specialist I will call him and let him know what's going on. He needs to do a BBP. So when I got there....my BP was up! But NO protein!! YAY!!!! The sonographer looked at her, she was perfect! The doc came in and looked too, Stormy has enough oxygen, my placenta looks great, no damage and he said she was a strong little thing! And there is a good amount of amniotic fluid! So that was great news to my ears!! Stormy already weights 2.5 lbs!!!! She is 54% in her age bracket! So she is big baby!! YAY!!!!!!  They tested her hearing....now that was funny, when they put the little buzzer up to my belly and clicked the button, she kicked me!! HAHA  She also has hair! It's amazing what these ultrasounds pick up! I am just so thankful that this pregnancy is going well, I hope I don't jinx myself! I said that last time and we see where that got me!!

 Well I am hoping to have this little girl in about 10 weeks! The docs told me that with my history of Pre-e the earliest I would have her is 37 weeks but no longer than prob 38! YIPPPEEEE!!! So Stormy and I are God's hands, I am leaving it all up to him.  I hope I do not develop Pre-E and she will come healthy and perfect!!!

Glad to hear the 27 week checkup went great... How exciting, she's got hair huh?... My first son was bron with a little bit of peach fuzz & my second was born with a head full of thick black hair... I wonder if baby Cory will be bald or have lots of hair... Guess we have to wait & see... 10 more weeks yay... I'm so excited for you... And myself, since we both have the same pregnancy history, & the same due dates... LOL!... Both my boys came a month early so I think Cory will be the same... Well congrats on the good news momma...

Thanks Shawna!!!! I know......10 more weeks and I can't get them here fast enough!!! I can't wait!!! I am ready to meet our little princess!!

 Yeah that's crazy about the hair...huh! I said you can see that! She said yep sure can!! My husband and I are battling it out to see if she will have straight or curly hair.....haha!! I hope straight!!! Well tomorrow we start our 3 rd trimester...hooooray for us!!!!
