Well, after months of going thru laser treatments for his kidney tumors, Kenny found out yesterday that it hasn't done any good, except for keeping the tumors from growing any more. He has felt horrible after these all day treatments, but it isn't as bad as chemo, and there is no hair loss from them. Now he needs to go thru the chemo, and have his one kidney removed. I pray to God that this works, and that the cancer does not get into his blood stream. So far it has not, and the chemo is necessary to prevent that from happening. Unfortunately, he will lose his hair, his pride and joy....which we all know is the least of his problems, but which is what he is worried about right now! If anyone knows of any place where we can get a wig made out of his own hair, please let me know. Locks of Love is only for children, from what I've read.

I don't know what the future holds now for us. His family wants him to move back to Central Florida, so that he can go to a hospital up in Gainesville that is supposed to be excellent. He doesn't want to go, I don't want him to go, but if that is what he needs to do for his health, then I hope he will go, even though the hospital he goes to here is also excellent. We were to move in together once my divorce is final, but he has no family down here. At least up there he will have a support system, and I would absolutely move up there as soon as I was able. I hate that everything is up in the air, and the problems just seem to be multiplying, instead of getting resolved. I have always looked toward the future, but I am learning fast how to just live for today. I don't want to lose him as soon as I've found him. Please pray as hard as you can for him......Thank you so very much.

I have had several friends go through all kinds of treatments and lose their hair, to them and me it has been no big deal, they just wear caps, hats or wraps, one even went bald and wore silly antenna things for the seasons! I will pray for all and will ask God to do what is in his power or whatever his will be!  They are just beginning to decide what to do about my uncle he has 4 spots of concern and one biopsy from prostrate  came back with 2 different kinds of cancer. He also has spots on his lung and pancreas.
