All of us have moments in life where we feel our mountain is too high to climb. I admit that I have on occasion been known to give myself a personal "pity party"; where I am for some reason the only one in attendence, go figure.
Today I wanted to give you a gift: a thankful heart. This is just a reminder, girls, that no matter how high you think your mountain is, there is always someone else with taller peaks to maneuver...
For your information, these pictures have not been altered in any way, shape or form...these photographs truly do not do this situation justice!

Btw, I do not have a dishwasher...![]()

I would have shared with you my mountain of laundry as well, but the pile was too tall to fit in the view finder of the camera!

Do you have a thankful heart yet? Grateful that you are not ME!

Been there, done that..... I hate dishes.... I went and labeled a Tupperware Cup with each of the big boys names, and took "mug" shots of the little ones sippy cups... and have a "Today's Cup is.." in the cupboard.. forcing my "helpers" to look for Alex's cup rather than just getting him another.
Awww you poor dear! There are only 3 ppl living in my home at the moment and I am SO thankful & grateful for my dishwasher! I love to cook and it seems I use almost everything in my kitchen when I cook.
By the look on his face, it looks as if you just told your son that it was his turn to do the dishes! lol
Oh Kim, once again I feel so much better! LOl And now I am motivated to go do my own teeny tiny pile of dishes(and BTW mine has looked like yours MANY times in the past--provbably why dh got me a dishwasher for my bday! Bwahahaha)
And, uh, hey quick question? Can I borrow a couple of your kids? See, I have a moutnain of laundry too and no dryer, so if I could get them to just hang it on the line for me...yeah that'd be great! LOL
Oh yes.... that is what my house (of only 3 people) looks like once school starts! But, yes, it does make me feel much better... sorry it is at your expense.
It's always nice to know I'm not alone!! Thanks once again for sharing!! :0)
Do I need a thankful heart! Yes, because I am Not thankful that my own dishes are not done, and that I have no dishwasher either. My mountain just seems overwhelmingly tall today, because my kitchen looks the same as yours, only my dishes are not stacked up yet! I am tired just thinking about washing all those dishes!![]()
But it is just nice to know there is someone out there who suffers the same malady--no-dishwasher-itis!
Blessings.....Wanda (also mom of 6)--4 are grown, but now they bring their kids over, and they make messes, too! God bless us all!
