Chaos & Destruction Channel Picasso.

Yesterday was hilarious!  We are getting ready to move Riah & Mara into the same bedroom.  I've been cleaning out Riah's room in preparation of the big move together and into big girl beds.  Anyway, Chaos & Destruction were playing nicely in Riah's room and I was flitting back and forth upstairs between the bedrooms moving, carrying, etc.  I was in my scrapbook room (right beside Riah's room) putting away some gift bags and tissue paper in the closet.   

Finished with my task, and almost lunchtime, I go into Riah's room to tell the girls it was time to go downstairs and lo and behold, the girls were not playing as nicely as I originally had thought!  As I walked into the room, I saw Mara standing by the bright yellow wall in Riah's room and noticed the drawings on the wall.  In pink highlighter.  At first I was pretty mad, but the more I looked at the drawings, the more impressed I actually became.  I asked who did the drawings and Riah answered "Sissy" and Mara answered "Me".  I asked what the eight drawings were.  Mara answered "Cats" and Riah piped up "With Shoes!" and sure enough there were shoes on Cat #1.  Once I saw the shoes on the cat, I couldn't stop laughing.  I stood there and laughed so hard that I actually started crying!  Something about a cat with shoes just struck me as hilarious.

Praise God that we're going to be painting the room in a couple of weeks!!

I normally don't post photos of my kids on the internet, but this one was so funny, that I'm going to.  Mara is the one in the white shirt and Riah is the one in the blue shirt.

If you look closely, the first "cat" on the left is the one wearing shoes.

I am so glad you took pictures to share! Maybe you should forget the painting and just give her some more markers...:)
