I am trying to find this information out from my kids' school.  I looked up the study guides for PreK-6, my kids are in Kindergarten and 2nd.

Here is a link for the guides if you are interested.

How do you feel about this?

My BIL lives in Colorado and in his son's school district, they got so many complaints about it that they are not showing it.

Here is a video too...

I hope they air the speech in my daughter's school. Hannity is not by any means a reliable source of information to base one's opinion.  I just hope people use their brains, do their own research, and come to an unbiased opinion.

I don't trust anyone's opinion, I looked up the information myself. Obama is going to talk about the importance of education. Nothing more, nothing less. I wish this hysteria would die down already.

Our school district isn't showing the speech, but the teachers will have the option to show the speech at a later time. Those teachers who choose to do that will be sending home notification and will allow parents to opt their children out. My daughter is in 1st grade, so I really can't see the teacher wanting to show it. I can see where jr high and high school teachers may find it valuable though.
