Internet friends and what they do for us......

Okay we have friends and family we care a lot for. They are special to us and we are always there for them. Then we have internet friends we met through face book, café mom and other sites. Most are because you both like books or unicorns or committed on a post you made…. just on for awhile and disappear as fast as they came.

Then there are some….a very special group that reach beyond being a pic and texted words on a screen. They some how know when you need a laugh or words of encouragement and they are able to reach through the screen to support you, make you laugh, and be a true friend….even though most of us have never meet face to face.

I meet a group of ladies on Café Mom. I joined a daycare providers group. From there I was invited to a private group of Real Moms a lot of them belonged to. We shared stories, shared pics, shared our lives. These ladies became an important part of my life. I log on every morning to see how they are doing. I play games on line with them. Some of us even shared addresses and phone numbers. Yet most of us have never meet face to face.

God forbid that some one joins the group and attacks because they soon find out that this is not like most groups…..this is a core of friends, a sitter hood. Their ideas and thoughts are welcome but never attack or you will get more then you can handle. We all except each other for who we are, we can tease, we can share, we can be very honest, and laugh (we do this a lot) but when needed we can also be strong and supportive.

One of these special friends was in a head on accident and life flighted to the hospital….another friend that lives close and has seen her face to face is going to be by her side. If I had the money I would be there too. So would the others…..that is how close this group is. We are there for each other.

Please pray for her because she is one of those special people. If there is one thing I have found out from this group is how powerful prayer is from this group. It has made miracles in my life….I hope it makes one in  Jacks life too. She is very special and I pray she makes it.

thanks for posting this.. our group has an amazing bunch of women!!  we are  more than friends we are sisters!!  Please pray for jacks as she needs us more than ever!!

You are such a great friend!!! Obviously prayers do work, Jacks is living proof! :) The group is wonderful, I just wish I had more time to hang out with all of you!
