Feels like fall is approaching. Which is always exciting. I enjoy season changes.
Feels like it's time for an update. I kind of hate having to only post update journals. But until we get internet back at the house it's really all I can do. It's wierd trying to type anything thought provoking or creative when I'm not at my house...Something about the limited time I guess...
But yes...I still lack internet and cable at home. I think we've been without since late May. We were just about to pay it off and then the truck kind of died on us. So the first thing any "extra" money has to take care of is getting our power steering pump replaced. And maybe then we can finally be connected again!
Alaina is as wonderful as ever. She's so smart and funny. She started saying 'I love you' last week. So far she's only said it to ME. And yes there is a tiny tiny selfish part of me that almost wishes she'd only ever say it to me. =) But the fact that she said it to me first and for now only says it to me is enough. She's going through another one of those verbal spike stages. Out of nowhere she's saying new phrases and sentences. It's so cute. She also has started taking people by the fingers and guiding them to whatever it is she's showing off. I've started planning her birthday party already. Granted it isn't until October 28 (well thats her birthday but her party will be on Halloween) and it seems early but I waited last year and found myself scrambling trying to get things ready. I wish som of you ladies lived near by because you'd be receiving invitations! Can you believe she'll be 2 though? I know I can't.
Speaking of Halloween, I'm dyyyyyying to get the girls costumes. I'm still going to have to look arond but I think Alaina may be a ladybug and Chloe may be a monkey. Then again I bet I'll get something entirely different...Especially since I plan on letting Alaina "choose" hers. I really love Halloween.
Chloe is just amazing of course. She will be 2 months on the 16th. Breastfeeding is going super well. She does get formula if I'm dead tired or if I have to go out without her. As soon as I possibly can I'm getting a breastpump so she can have the good stuff all the time though. She smiles so pretty and makes the cutest noises. She's also very impatient when it comes to dirty diapers. There is no "letting her finish pooping" to save on changes. You HAVE to change her as soon as it's wet or dirty or else you pay dearly. Just something I never expected. She also went through a stage of only sleeping with Jon and I. You can imagine it was difficult in a full size bed. But she's doing better in her bassinet again and I think when she's a bit older will do fine in her crib. She doesn't much care for a binky at all. Which is fine by me really. Her next check up is on the 22nd. Yay.
On the 15th I go back for another glucola test to see whether or not I've ended up with type 2 diabetes from having gestational. God I really hope and pray I don't. I think I may be fine though. There's no history of it on either side of my family and I've lost a total of 20 pounds (All 15 from my pregnancy plus 5 extra. Go me!!) So I'm really hoping I don't. I just don't have the energy to be diabetic at all! Lol.
That's all for now. We've got to get back home so my Mom can drop the babies off. I swear my Mom may love those girls almost as much as I do. Speaking of my Mom, I know I told a lo of you that she finished her Masters degree back in early May. Well, she's now teaching at the university she got her BA from and is looking for a church to pastor. Ya, it means she can't have the girls as much but I am happy for her. Not to mention proud of her.
Alright...That's really all for now!

Thanks for the update! It sounds like the breastfeeding is helping with that extra weight loss. That was one of my favorite perks :-)
I am excited for Halloween too. I am going to let Logan pick out his costume. It should be interesting.
Fall is my favorite season. I love the breezes and moderate weather. Too bad it doesn't last longer.
I hope the results for your test come back okay! Oh and let us know how the party goes :-)
