It's been ages...

but the good news is...I am a TEACHER!!!

I have finally completed all of my schooling, my student teaching and tests. I graduated, applied for my license and I am now a fully licensed teacher for grades K-6 in the state of Tennessee!!!

Naturally, after such an amazing success, I have had to go back to substitute teaching as there are NO jobs within an hour 1/2 of our current home...ALL THE WAY AROUND! However, I know that every day of subbing is another day of experience. I am so fortunate to work in our community where ALL of the teachers know that I am also a teacher. I am one of the lucky ones. I no longer have to sit and hand out worksheets all day. I am finally able to teach, even if it is in someone else's classroom...for now. I am not giving up to subbing, I am just accepting that this is where I am meant to be for the moment.
