I love to bake.  I find it both rewarding and relaxing.  I like to cook, too, but I think I am a better baker than cook.  I just baked the most amazing banana bread from scratch tonight.  It turned out perfect.  I was truly amazed.  It's almost gone!  Baked goods don't last long in my house.  If I turn my back, my hubby and kids get to it and you're left with crumbs....sometimes!  I'm glad the weather will be changing soon and I can really get my oven fired up!

Happy Baking!!!!

I love to bake too, its something I wish I could do more often. Mostly I bake cookies, but I also like to bake cakes, pies, scones, and other things.  But unfortunately if I bake too often my 10 and 14 year old will actually allow it to go to waste! I have had to throw away things even.  Still I have one hundred cookbooks and its mostly for the baking! My Dh is playfully annoyed whenever I look at a new one.  Ingredients can also get expensive on a budget!

I love to bake.  I live in northern wisconsin where we get cold and i mean COLD for several months out of the year and i can bake alot for my family.  Plus my hubby is a truck driver so it makes it nice for him when he is gone.  My girls love the whole process, and i do the mom stuff, like what is 2 1/2 cups plus 1 1/2 cups kind of thing.  my middle is in 3 rd grade.  My girls are already going threw my cookbooks to find the ones they really like and they know daddy likes

Yep, I'm a baker too! It's my favorite hobby and aroma therapy! I've been trying to lose weight and cut back on the junk food for the family so when I bake we only keep a little of it. The rest goes to family, friends, to work with DH and Hospice. My MIL was in Hospice when I was pregnant with my oldest. A lot of volunteers left left food for families in the nourishment room. Since I ate quite a bit of it I like to be able to give back now.
