GaMom I have my puppy on a schedule. He goes out at 2 am, 5am, and 7 am. After he comes in at 2 we put him in bed with us (I do not suggest to do this with all puppies some will not stay in your bed). If your puppy does not potty when out side put him in a crate (or box with a doggie bed in it). Stay out with your puppy at least 20-30 minutes. I had mine trained in a week for peeing but still have some problems with the other. I am now trying the clicker treat method which is you buy a clicker (a pet store would have them) and you click it right after they get done pottying and then give them a treat. Wait no longer then the count of 3 to do this since a dog will have no clue what the treat is for. Hope this helps you.

I have a yorkie puppy that is 3 pounds and he is 3 months old. Watch out for those sharp little puppy teeth. I have had a ball with my yorkie puppy. We had to shave his fur short because he kept getting fleas. Your puppy is sweet. If you have any suggestions for housebreaking a yorkie let me know, I am struggling with that part.
