Since I stopped working to stay at home with my kids during the summer over and over my dad wanted me to start looking for a job. And i felt horriably like i was this useless person because i decided it was cheaper to stay with them then struggle and not be able to be there mom from being so tired(singlemom itis) as I call it . After months it came to me and when he said you need to look for a job I said I have one. I preceeded to tell him my job
I am a secretary between him, my mom and my children i schedule appoints cancel appointments
I am a house sitter while your away i sit in your house allowing plumbers, cable guys and gas men to do what they do with supervision and nothing goes missing.
I am your chef i cook meals pack lunches make sure everyones diet restrictions are met and make favorite end of day treats for you all
I am a housekeeper I clean your whole house and landscape your garden so when you come home from a hard day its done for you
I am a journal of how horriable your job is and how you want another one, how as your getting older the world is changing. No one wants to sit with me they made fun of my hair.
I am the cheerleader who says go for it when promotion doors open up or you have to say your first poerm in front of class
I AM your daughter , your mother, your friend I support you cheer you on and all for free so I do have a job and I do it to the best of my ability. The next time someone trys to make you feel like you dont really do nothing all day tell them ALL that your ARE to THEM....BE ENCOURAGED.
Comments:
that is awsome i love it, so what did your dad say to your comments?? my hubby said that to me once so i went on strike for 2 days, i did nothing but sew (i make quilts), he had to do the laundry, dishes, dinner the works, and at the time we had a 15 yr old, 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. And i was kind enough to send the 15 yr old to grandparents so she wouldn't have to do all the work. By the middle of day 2 he said he needed a nap and would never doubt me again, and he hasn't. that was 4 yrs ago and he listens now, because now that we are both working, he has to pull his fair share in the house, but really i know he won't, he switches a load of laundry and swears he needs a nap. Oh men, brothers, fathers or hubbys, they can be jerks sometimes
goood luck
Don't forget chauffer! I drive my kids everywhere for thir activities and sports.
I read somewhere awhile back that if SAHM were to get paid for the jobs they do we would get 140.000 per year. Thats how much we work! So be proud!
