Ok hi Ladies My name is Abigail I had my DD 2 years ago and unfortunately weigh the same now as i did when i had her I foolishly thought that by breast feeding her i would lose all the weight I lost some but I also gained it all back when she quit nursing at 10 months. I complained and whined to my Hubby but what good does that do? about 2 weeks ago I finally found a way to start exersiceing again. I found a great tip since i have no money and couldn't buy dvd's or go to a gym heck i didn't even have any equipment (still don't btw) I went to my local library and rented a beginners yoga dvd i figured i needed beginner even though i used to be very active I have never tried yoga before and i needed to loosen back up before trying anything more strenuous to the body. I have been slowly working at yoga i even went and got a slightly more advanced dvd still a beginner but not as broken down more fluid ya know. anyways i have been trying to do my video at least every other day but trying to get up to everyday it is only a 20 min workout and yet it is a cardio workout for all those out there that think that yoga is just streching think again your heart rate gets pumping because you focus all your thoughts into breathing fully and holding the strechs you build muscle while you strech and everything I LOVE YOGA!!!!! I also found out from another mom here on Cafe mom that there is a yoga studio in my small town (WOW was i excited) then i remembered i have no money but i got some information for when things get better around here I am literally working without any kind of equipment i have to be creative i use a quilt for a mat i still slipp a little but not as bad as on carpet I use my socks as a strap to help me hold different poses and of course the library is a free resource Ladies!!! if you ever need new material but can't spend the money on it check the library you never know what you will find!!!!!!!!! Two weeks ago i weighed in at 158.6 the next week i was 158.8 this week i am down to 154.6 I have lost 4.2 lbs in jsut two weeks by eating healthier and exersiceing wow i love my life hopefully soon i will be fit and healthy again and be able to keep up with my DD who will be 2 in exactly one week!
