I need some tips or strategies to help teach my son how to write and read... He is in KG for the second year and the homework is absolutely crazy. he can not write at this point in time, nor can he read. I am kind of at a loss in how to help him with his homework without writing it for him... Any tips or advice would be great!!!

Thank you!

Is your son in public school or private? If your son is in public you can request a IEP from the public school system.  Go on this website as well http://www.wrightslaw.com/ it will help you get more info on what IEP's are.  You should be able to get Physical therapy, Reading and wiriting therapy, speech, occupational therapy.  You might want to check what is available in your state or school system and request that your son be tested.  See what the laws are in your school system. they maybe able to assist you in helping your son learn how to write.
