So I started school on Tuesday. I had applied to school and financial aid over the summer. They say I should have no problems getting approved for financial aid but it wont happen till October or November. In the meantime I must buy my own books for my classes. They gave a voucher that does not cover my expenses. 2 books that Im missing are over $100 and the other is around $80. I was told I can return 1 that I have that wont be needed until next semester so that leaves me $90 on the voucher. I still have over $200 in books not covered. I dont know what to do. My mom says she'll help but maybe with just one book. I can pay her back later on but shes also helping my sister with her books and behind on other bills because shes had a few unexpected expenses this past month. I can do this but money is so tight and Im afraid of how things will be for the next few months. Im hoping things dont completely fall apart. I still need to buy my 1 y/o winter clothes since all last years clothes dont fit. Im lucky she has at least a few coats she got for her bday. Im hoping all goes well  but i cant help but feel like I cant handle it all. Ive barely started school and Im already panicking. Wish me luck if you read this. I need as much as I can get.

I am in pretty much the same boat! Just breathe and stay calm. My school has books on reserve in the library I can go in there and use them until I get my others!! Just keep your head up!

Is there a place on campus that sells used books?
