My Beatle Boy

     Kevin who just turned 12 yesterday, is a huge Beatles fan! So much so that he has every album on CD from my Dad. When we were in Target this past summer he found the Abby Road  Album & just had to have it.  Every Sunday we listen to Beatles Brunch on our local radio station-B103.  It is so funny how a kid who is 12 enjoys these songs & knows all of the words. Just this past week VH1 was playing the Beatles movies(Help,A Hard Day's Night,Yellow Submarine) and he watched them all. He has also read most the Beatles Anthology

So for his birthday what better gift for him then the Beatles Rock Band for his X-box.  He has been asking for this for the last 6 months and every so often would watch the trailer of the game on the Internet.  My dh and I said to him it is too much(it was 250) that he had to think of something else for his b-day. He was dissapointed but said he would save his own money. We really had him convinced that he wasn't getting Beatles Rock Band.-for anyone who has played rock band you know how much fun it is. For those who haven't ..you are missing out on a lot of fun..Go out and try it!!

We were so excited to give it to him that we decided to give it to him on Friday night since our Saturday would be starting really early at the football field(in the rain no-less)

AWWWWWWWWWWW! What an awesome gift. My kids love Rock Band, how much fun the Beatles would be. :) I'm sure this was one birthday he will remember always! Mama sure rocks...:)

ohh this is so sweet!! how wonderful. I'm sure he's loving it. :) and how awesome that he likes the Beatles~ thats so great!!
