Some people-ughhh

A little background first:

These kids I was watching up until, not last Saturday but the one before that are complete brats and don't respect you, mainly because their parents I swear have never heard of a little word called "DISCIPLINE."  I seriously have never met such bad kids in my life.  They are only boy almost 2yrs and daughter 4yrs.  I have a 4yr ds and 2yr dd so I know how 2yr old boys can be, lol.  Plus the girl does stuff that she knows better, kwim.  My nephew that I thought was a devil is seriously an angel compared to these kids, lol.  So,  I thought we were going to be moving and I gave them 2wks notice, then right after I stopped watching them I found out that we got denied.  This was even after I had packed up a lot of the extra stuff, so I had to unpack everything and put everything back away, which I am finally done.  I also made Kimi's room into the bedroom since Kyle only wants to sleep in Kimi's bed.  I just pushed both beds together, I got the idea from another mom on cafemom-thanks.  Except their beds are twin (ds) and full (dd) so its like a king or bigger.  They love it.  Then I made Kyle's room into a playroom.  I will make another journal about this.

So here's the vent part:  Sorry, just had to give a little background until I got to this part:

The mom of the two kids has always been late on paying for me to watch them, like usually a day or two after the wk ends, but I didn't really care too much because I knew she was going to pay.  So, the last two wks that I watched them I watched them a total of 4 days between the 2wks.  So, I didn't really care too much that she didn't pay me that first wk because it was only for 2 days.  So, the day before it was the last day I was going to be watching them, I asked her about paying for the wk before and that wk and she told me she would pay me either Saturday(the last day I was watching them) or Sunday(which happened to be my son's party so I told her I wouldn't really be home and she said she'd come by later), which never happened.  So, finally Tuesday I called her because I tried knocking on her door and she didn't answer.  She tells me she can't pay me until Friday, which was 9/11/09.  I was kinda mad but not too much because that was only a few days away.  So, I call her Thursday night to ask her if she will pay me tommorrow and she basically tells me she can't pay it all, maybe half  because she had to pay a huge deposit on her new babysitter(I don't require a deposit) and the other one charges a lot more because she's certified and all that.  And she's basically blaming it on me because she has to pay more for a babysitter.  I was like WTH, its not my fault we got denied, its my husband's crappy credit.  So, I was like whatever, goodbye and hung up. I was really counting on this money because I have to get my tooth finished.  I had a root canal done but the dentist needs to finish it.  Plus, I seriously wanted to ask her, how would you feel if your employer says, sorry I can't pay you this wk, you have to wait a week or two.  Just because its under the table it doesn't make it any different, right?   And of course I haven't seen any money.  I have learned that I will be requiring a smaller deposit(than most, like 1/2 wks pay) and that they need to pay at least by pick up the first day of the wk.

My rule is pay on the day agreed upon or don't bring the kids back.
