What happened today.......Comments please.

 I was supposed to be off today, the kids i babysit are supposed to be going to Canada to visit family for 2WEEKS!!

but no that did not work out. The kids are here right now. WIDE AWAKE!!

 

well they're mother dropped them off around 2pm today with out calling.

and then i didn't hear from her for like 3 hours and she came home to tell me she's getting admited to the ER to get her gallbladder out

oh fucking great............

So she handed me the keys to the house so i could also let the DOG out and feed the TWO CATS

Their daddy is flying home from CO, he was at a business trip

 

MY HUSBAND has to go pick him up around 1:30 am

 

yeah it was supposed to be freaking 12 midnight but the flight was late***

 

 

NO not really!! I thought she was coming over to hand me the keys to watch her animals while they went to Canada.......i would not have opened the door if i knew she was un loading the monsters

 

Oh and to add to this shit.....our air conditioner is broken and cant get it fixed till tomarrow. We made tacos tongiht and nobody ate it but me....go figure. I have a headache and the taco smell is making it worse. ..........No more baby sitting. This is just too much for me and my hubby. My son has school in the moring, my hubby works in the morning..........i just feel like we dont matter in this situation. I mean come on.......can anything go right?? Well my kids are happily sleeping....at least they worked out well.

 

Whats everyones thoughts on this?? I would be intersted to know what you all would do. oh and by the way.............this family doesn't no anyone else in the entire state not to mention the neighborhood. I told them i suggest they hire a live in nanny. The listing should read....

        Live in nanny needed, Must be robot....lol

If your the only people you know it doesn't seem like they had too much of an option.  I am hoping that they are grateful for everything you have done for them today.  I wouldn't do all this any old day.  But, if she needed emergency surgery then I would do it for one day.  I'm guessing the dad is going to pick up the kids when he gets in?

Your doing them a big favor, super big favor. I hope you get compensated for it by extra pay.  That always helped me when any child I was nannying for was dropped off unexpectently and I had them overnight, sometimes for a week.   I charged 100.00 per night if it was an overnight.   If they failed to pay , the rule was don't bring the kids back.    Of course I didn't spring this on them when I was hired, I told them all up front this would be the case for overnight babysitting.

Not only is it going through the whole bedtime routine but you wake up to those faces in the morning too and thats when its the most work.
