I just read an article about this--I have always liked Jimmy Carter.  I am glad to see he has the temerity to call it as it is.  Many won't like it, but the truth is often difficult to hear. 

We need to keep in mind, Wilson also wanted to keep the Confederate flag flying over the SC capital (the most easily recognized symbol of slavery and oppression and racism). 

Hold on to your hat--you know this will set off a shit-storm from the cons.

Ugh, I didn't like Carter when he was in office.  He's just an old windbag, peanut farmer.  Who cares what he says.  He proves how ignorant he is by even bring up the "race" issue.

Okay, I suppose you think I'm too ignorant to read?  LOOK AT THE TITLE OF THE VIDEO..."Jimmy Carter: Opposition to Obama is 'Racist.'"  So tell me sweet-a-kins, how is that "not bringing it up?"  PLEASE tell me you're not that ignorant.  I don't think you are.

The conversation has been going on for 8 months, him talking about the elephant in the room isn't HIM starting talk of racism and how some of that is fueling this hateful rhetoric against the POTUS
