Today was Ian's first day of nursery school w/o moms/caregivers in the room w/ them.  The moms got to go down the hall for a Moms Tea while the kids were in class (it was only their second day so the school had us stay "just in case").  So when the time came to pick up the kids, I signed him out & the teacher said he did excellent & was a pure pleasure *tear*.  Then on the ride home I was asking him about his day (keep in mine, he's 2 1/2)...I asked if he colored, he said no. I ask if he painted, he said yes.  I asked if he played with friends & he said yes.  Then I asked him if he sang songs & he said "A bumble bee song".  So I was like ok.  I get home, go through his backpack mail & there was a letter from the teachers saying that today the kids read a story & then played a Name Game song about a bumble bee!!!  I thought that was sooooo cute!  I was so proud that he actually remembered what he did in class!  I was also shocked because I got more out of my 2 year old then my 8 year old!!!  My 8 yr old comes home & says IDK, I had music (insert other extra cirricular activity)... thats all I get LOL.... Anyways, I just had to share :)

LoL.....If I ask Rhyan he tells me a little but when he wants to tell you what he did he will. They must have read the Gingerbread Man story this week bc I was told the one line the gingerbread man says....Also they painted yesterday. Way to go Ian =)
