A lil look into my twisted mind

I just want to say that this is coming from some one who smokes half a pack day and has been smoking since she was 15.. so i do understand the addiction.. BUT I ALSO UNDERSTAND COMMON FRICKING COURSTESY!

I would like  to eplain to those of you who dont have respect a few things taht should be done if you choose to smoke.. not rules persay just respect and common sense

first of all.. the one the bother me the most:
WAIT UNTIL YOU PUT YOUR CHILD DOWN TO LIGHT UP! it is not that serious that you need to risk burning you child or blow the smoke right in their face,, their lungs are still developing.. and dont smoke while pushing their stroller or holding their hand either.. keep the smoke a safe distant from your child please.

Secondly.. if you need a smoke before going into a store ( been there done that) Stand by your car or light up in the parking lot. it is NOT NECCECARY to stand by the entrance of the store and blow your smoke in peoples faces as the are entering or exiting the store.. Even if someone does smoke does not mean they want to walk into your smoke could or that they want thier children to

IF YOU MUST SMOKE in your car with your children their (again it could wait ) PLEASE ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN so they can have some air

And there IS SUCHA THING AS A BUTT CAN! The street is NOT an ashtray.. It takes a second to light up right? You have the time it takes to do that and the 2-5 minutes it takes to smoke.. you have the 3.5 seconds to put you butt in the proper place!

Also If you are at an event FOR CHILDREN and families.. step away from the crowd.. if you are a a concert or bar where 99 percent of people are smoking go right ahead light up there... but if its a family thing with hundreds of kids . step back by a tree or something... it will save a lot of hassle

I know the need for a smoke. I also know that their is a time and place

So please have some respect

Thanks a fellow smoker

clappingThanks for being a considerate smoker.  I don't like smoking, but I understand that many people do it and cannot stop.  I really appreciate it when people are considerate of others when they smoke, especially children.

From a fellow smoker - WHY are any of you still smoking cigarettes with these risks? There are safer options. I smoke, I enjoy it. But there is never a risk of second hand smoke with electronic cigarettes. I can even see how people could want to smoke the "originals" at home, but e-cigs are really the safe way to go! No Flame, No Smoke, No additives and No Smell...  Come on people - If you are gonna smoke, be smart about it!

I totally agree. One place I absolutely do not understand smoking is at a park where children play, people just light up and throw their cigarettes onto the ground WHERE CHILDREN PLAY IN THE SAND without a care. I can't tell you how many cigarette butts you find in the sand at the park. Kids play in that sand IDIOTS.

it might sound bitchy, but i think any mother who smokes does not have much courtesy, it doesn't really matter if you put a child down before you light up, they still breath it in, and they defenitely still breath it in if they are in the car weither the window is up or down.  i use to smoke too and realize it is hard to quit, but for the sake of my child i did a really hard thing.
